Originally from Arlington, Texas, David Lawson has been with the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) for over ten years. He received his B.A. in History from Texas State University and has earned a Master Continuity Practitioner (MCP) certification from FEMA-EMI. Mr. Lawson is responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing the Association’s Business Continuity and Catastrophe Plans, as well as leading outreach for federal, state, county, and city emergency management officials.
